-Letter 4-years for the Franklinton High School Demons, led by his father Jeff Tageant who has achieved over 500 wins in 32 seasons as Head Coach of the Demons.

-1st Team All-State Infielder as a Senior
-Member of the East Team in the Louisiana High School All-Star Game

-2013 DII JUCO National Runner Up at LSU-Eunice – Redshirt Freshman

-2016 Conference-USA Champions, Florida State Regional (0.61 ERA in 15 appearances)
-Summer of 2016 became Assistant Coach at Meridian Community College
-Fall of 2016 became Head Coach at Varnado High School. In 1st season as a head coach of the Wildcats (First winning season in school history:20-8, First playoff appearance in school history: Quarterfinalist, District 9-1A Coach of the Year)
-2017 to present: US History Teacher and Assistant Coach at Franklinton High School.
-Married to Katelyn Tageant a former Southern Miss Dixie Darlin Captain.
